New Port Engineering 12 Volt Wiper Motors for Cadillac Passenger Cars

The clean wipe wiper drive is a true bolt-in replacement for your original equipment vacuum or electric windshield wiper motor.  Each model of the clean wipe wiper drive is designed for the specific year and model of the vehicle.

1937 Cadillac Passenger Cars (NE3700CAD):

The vacuum motor is located near the steering column, dead center, near the glove box.  For motors near the steering column, the short linkage arm is located on the driver's side.  For motors located dead center, the linkage arms are equal length.  Please specify if the crossarm on the vacuum motor faces the seat or the firewall.  For motors near the glovebox, the short linkage arm is located on the passenger's side.

 

1939 Cadillac Passenger Cars (All Except 60 Special) (NE3900CAD):

Motor mounts in the stock location under the dash using the stock linkage and transmissions.  The two speed switch provided will mount in the stock location, but the delay switch will not.  *This motor will not fit with the stock radio box.*

 

1939 Cadillac Series 60 (NE3738BOP):

Motor mounts in the stock location under the dash using the stock linkage and transmissions.  The two speed switch provided will mount in the stock location, but the delay switch will not.  *This motor does not clear the stock radio box.*

 

1939 Cadillac Series 61 (NE3940BOP):

Motor mounts in the stock location using the stock linkage and transmissions.  The two speed switch provided will mount in the stock location, but the delay switch will not.  *This motor will clear the stock radio box.*  Note: The original vacuum motor is located near the glove box on the passenger's side of the vehicle.

 

1940 Cadillac Series 60, 61-72, & 75-90 (NE4000CP):

Motor mounts in the stock location under the dash using the stock linkage and transmissions.  The two speed switch provided will mount in the stock location, but the delay switch will not.  *This motor will not fit with the stock radio box.*  Note: The original vacuum motor is located near the steering column.

 

1942-1948 Cadillac Series 60, 62, 75C, & 61 with Linkage (NE4800CP):

Motor mounts in the stock location under the dash using the stock linkage and transmissions.  The two speed switch provided will mount in the stock location, but the delay switch will not.  *This motor will not fit with the stock radio box.*

 

1948 Cadillac Series 61 & 62 (NE4800OC):

Motor mounts in the stock location on the firewall in the engine compartment and operates through the OEM cables.  Mounting screws on motor are spaced 5-7/8" center to center.  Note: Wiper drive features a propeller shaped drive unit that plugs into the OEM cable drive unit.

 

1948-1949 Cadillac Series 75 Cable Driven (NE4800BK):

Motor mounts in the stock location on the firewall in the engine compartment and operates through the OEM cables.  Mounting screws on motor are spaced 5" center to center.  *Note: Wiper drive features a propeller shaped drive that plugs into the OEM cable drive unit.*

 

1949 Cadillac Series 60, 61, & 62 (NE4900BOC)

Motor mounts in the stock location on the firewall in the engine compartment and operates through the OEM cables.

 

1950-1953 Cadillac Passenger Cars (NE5053CAD):

Motor mounts in the stock location on the firewall in the engine compartment and operates through the OEM cables.

 

1954-1958 Cadillac Passenger Cars (NE5458CAD):

Motor mounts in the stock location on the firewall in the engine compartment and operates through the OEM cables.  *Note: Switch may be mounted in the stock location in cars using factory rotary switch.  In this case the shaft extension is necessary.  Vehicles equipped with a factory slider switch must relocate the provided switch.*

 

1958 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham (NE5800CAD):

Motor mounts in the stock location on the firewall in the engine compartment and operates through the OEM cables.
