Direct Sheetmetal kits are made from 16 and 18 gauge, cold rolled steel, and are all hand formed in their shop.  Each part has been designed so that the average hot rod enthusiast will be able to install it themself, in their own garage or workshop.  Each kit contains mounting hardware and an easy-to-understand instruction sheet.  If you need additional help, we are always available to walk you through the installation process.  Remember, every car or truck is different, so slight trimming and reshaping of some parts may be necessary to get a correct fit.

Direct Sheetmetal Complete 3" Recessed Firewall for 1930-1931 Ford Model A

This firewall fits all 30/31 passenger cars and pick-ups. This is a 2-piece firewall that when welded in place, makes a flat firewall with no set-back. This will give you approximately 2.5" more back space than your stock firewall. It will work well with flathead and V6 engines. It is made in 2 pieces to allow you to use the stock gas tank. The bottom edge is made to trim to your floor or a Direct Sheetmetal floor.
